Event Report : Breast Cancer Awareness (Wacoal ft. Clinique) Event 2015

Hello, beauties. I attended the Breast Cancer Awareness Event on Sunday, Nov 1st, 2015. The event was held at Ciputra World Surabaya, Indonesia. I was invited by Sabrina. She is one of Surabaya Beauty Bloggers. It is my first blogger event. I was so nervous and excited. 

I took a picture of Clinique booth. There are Bobbi Brown booth, Estee Lauder, etc. But I forgot to take their pictures. We asked to sit down because the event was going to start.

The event was started at 01.00 - 05.00 pm (GMT + 07.00). It was opened by the dance performance. The dancers were dance really well. I stunned by their dress.

The Clinique team showed us a skin care demonstration. The lucky Sabrina is the model of this demo. They taught to use a trick called 3 steps to getting the glowing skin. It's cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing. 

After the skincare demonstration, Amanda as Bobbi Brown's makeup artist gave the makeup demonstration. She showed us a natural makeup tutorial using Bobbi Brown's product.

Voila! This is Sabrina with natural makeup from Bobbi Brown. I love the result so much.

The theme of this fashion show is night dress from Wacoal Indonesia. We were surprised at that time. The empty hall became crowded with men and boys who want to watch the model with the night dress. I didn't realize until the MC said that they were smiling happily when saw the model. LOL

Next session is the talk show with Oncology Specialist, dr. Jacobus, the breast cancer sufferer (I forgot her name), and representatives of the cancer foundation of Surabaya called Reach to Recovery Surabaya (RRS). We learned many things from this talk show. We have to aware with cancer sign because the breast cancer can happen at any age. I saw many people who submit their death after diagnosed with cancer. They usually keep it in secret and revealed when cancer getting worse. We can't give up on this life. We have to keep our mind strong and do the healing procedure. The family must support the sufferer too. The breast cancer sufferer guest (center) inspired me so much. She diagnosed with the breast cancer since 2005 and now she cured. She said there is no time to give up. 

We learned about how to prevent and aware about breast cancer from a video. The starring was called Mami BeHa and IsaBeHa. I laughed because Indonesian woman usually can't spell BeHa (BeHa=BH, means bra) in public. The complete video and information about cancer can be discovered on www.kalahkankanker.com 

The donation was given to Reach to Recovery Surabaya (RRS).

The fashion show again. This time, they showed us the glam dress collections inspired by the breast cancer. I love the dresses very much especially the black one.

I was very happy attended this event and met other bloggers. They are very kind and humble. I can't wait to see them again on the next event. The event was very awesome too. Thank for Clinique Indonesia and Wacoal Indonesia who invited me.  ^^
